What distinguishes the Drag S3 from its stablemates, for an owner rather than a shopper, is the resistance range it will accept: anything from a tenth of an ohm up to three ohms. That is a wide span, and it means the same device can be two entirely different vapes depending on what you press into the cartridge.
This page is about that choice and the parts it implies — not about whether the device is worth having.
The parts it takes
Cartridges are PnP X, five millilitres, in DTL or MTL form; the coil is bought on its own and pushed into whichever you are running. Replacement Pods carry the cartridges, and Replacement Coils the coils.
Original PnP coils do not fit this platform. The two families are one letter apart in name and entirely separate in fitment, and the mistake is common enough to be worth checking on every reorder.
The drip tip is removable and takes a 510 fitting, which is unusual on a pod mod and means a mouthpiece you like can move across from a tank.
A tenth of an ohm to three ohms, and what that changes
At the bottom of that range, you are running a wide mesh coil at real power, pulling a large volume of vapour and a large volume of liquid. Three milligrams at 70/30 is the only sensible fill: Nasty Juice, Ultimate Juice 120ml or a completed Doozy E-Liquids 100ml shortfill.
At the top of it, with the MTL cartridge and a high-resistance coil, the device becomes a tight mouth-to-lung vape drawing very little liquid per puff. That wants a 50/50 salt at around twenty milligrams: ELFBAR ELFLIQ 10ml or BAR Salts.
The two ends are not interchangeable, and the device will not stop you getting it wrong. A 50mg salt at 0.1Ω is genuinely unpleasant, and a 70/30 bottle in a 3.0Ω coil will burn before it wicks.
Power, screen and battery
Five to sixty watts across Smart, RBA and ECO modes. A 0.96-inch colour screen, with a puff counter, reports wattage, resistance and charge.
The 3000mAh cell is built in, so Batteries is not a shelf this device draws on. That page exists for the VOOPOO models that take removable cells, which this is not.
Reordering sensibly
Coils go before cartridges, and both go faster on sweetened liquids than on plain ones. If you run a dessert or candy bottle, treat spare coils as part of the liquid order rather than a separate errand.
If you change resistance, change the bottle at the same time. Owners who drop from a high-resistance coil to a low one and keep the same high-strength salt in the cartridge usually conclude the device is faulty when the problem is arithmetic.

Buying guidance
Work out which end of the resistance range you are running before you order anything else.
Change the liquid whenever you change the coil resistance meaningfully. They are one decision, not two.
PnP X only. An original PnP coil will not seat, whatever the listing photograph suggests.
The 510 drip tip is removable, so a mouthpiece from a tank will fit if you prefer it.
Buy coils in multiples. They are the part that fails and the part that stops the device.
Kenya and Nairobi relevance
A device that covers both draw styles well is a practical choice in Kenya, where carrying one kit rather than two is usually the point. Nairobi orders go out same-day, and the rest of the country follows in 24 to 48 hours.
