Eighty watts from a sealed 3000mAh cell puts the Argus Pro 2 at the powerful end of what a pod mod does without asking you to buy batteries. For an owner, that mostly translates into one thing: it goes through liquid and coils faster than a smaller device does.
This page is about the reorder rather than the purchase: what fits, what to fill it with, and what the wattage implies.
The parts
One cartridge platform: PnP X at five millilitres, with the coil a separate part that presses into it. The cartridge is listed on Replacement Pods and the coil under the PnP X family on Replacement Coils, not the original one.
The GENE.TT 2.0 chipset drives it from five watts to eighty, across Smart, RBA and Turbo. There is a physical lock switch rather than a menu setting, which is a small thing that matters a great deal in a pocket.
The device weighs 155 grams. That is substantial for a pod mod and is the sort of fact worth knowing before it becomes a daily carry.
What eighty watts means for the liquid
At the wattage a 0.15Ω coil is built for, three milligrams at 70/30 is the fill, and nothing stronger has a case. The volume of vapour is what carries the nicotine at this end of the range, so the concentration does not need to.
The formats that belong here are Nasty Juice at three milligrams, Ultimate Juice 120ml at the same, and a Doozy E-Liquids 100ml bottle once its shots are in. A nicotine salt does not — at eighty watts through a wide mesh coil, the arithmetic runs several times past what any salt was formulated around.
The other consequence of the wattage is consumption. A 5ml cartridge at eighty watts empties considerably faster than the same cartridge at twenty, which is worth building into how much liquid you order at a time.
Battery and charging
The cell is internal at 3000mAh, so batteries are not a shelf this device needs — that page serves the VOOPOO models running removable cells, and this is not one of them.
A large sealed cell at high wattage still means charging more often than a low-power pod kit would. If that becomes the constraint, the answer is a device on removable cells rather than a bigger internal one.
Coil life at this end of the range
High wattage works a coil harder than low wattage, and sweetened liquid works it harder again. Both effects compound, which is why the same PnP X coil that lasts a fortnight in a low-power device may not manage a week here.
Order coils in multiples and treat them as part of the liquid order. No maintenance changes the arithmetic. A coil at eighty watts is doing more work and will finish sooner.
Product and variant overview
One device, one cartridge platform. The Argus Pro 2 takes the PnP X cartridge at 5ml with PnP X coils fitted separately, at 5 to 80W on a sealed 3000mAh cell.
Compatibility and related products
Not compatible with original PnP parts.
Liquid: 3mg freebase at 70/30. A nicotine salt has no place in this device at these wattages.
Buying guidance
Order more liquid than you would for a smaller device. Eighty watts consumes at a different rate entirely.
Buy coils in multiples. High wattage and sweet liquid together will end one quickly.
Do not put a high-strength salt in it. The wattage makes that a bad experience rather than a strong one.
PnP X only, and check the marking on the old coil rather than the device name.
Use the physical lock. On a device this size in a pocket, it is not an optional feature.
Kenya and Nairobi relevance
Across Kenya, this is the pod mod for somebody who wants sub-ohm performance without having to manage loose cells, at the cost of charging rather more often. Nairobi orders leave same-day, with 24 to 48 hours elsewhere in Kenya.
