One thing makes reordering for an XROS unusually simple: the pod fits every XROS device VAPORESSO has made. Generations come and go, and the consumable stays put, which is rarer than it ought to be.
What you are choosing is the resistance, and that decision carries the draw, the power and the nicotine strength with it.
The pod, and the five resistances
An XROS series pod with COREX 3.0 mesh sealed inside. It comes at three millilitres almost everywhere, and at two where British and European law caps the volume. No cap of that kind exists in Kenya, so the fuller pod is the one on this shelf. Pods are on Replacement Pods.
Five resistances are made: 0.4, 0.6, 0.8, 1.0 and 1.2 ohms. The coil is inside the pod, so there is no separate coil to buy, and nothing on Replacement Coils fits this device.
Power runs to thirty watts across three preset levels. Fitting the 0.4 ohm pod unlocks stepped adjustment, which is the one place the device gives you finer control than the presets.
Airflow, and the strength that goes with each setting
The rear slider has three positions — closed, half and open — which is a coarser adjustment than a stepless slider and considerably easier to return to a setting you liked.
With the airflow closed on a 0.8 or 1.2 ohm pod, twenty milligrams of 50/50 salt is the match. That is the concentration both ELFBAR ELFLIQ 10ml and BAR Salts are made at.
Open the airflow, or fit a 0.4 ohm pod, and the device draws a great deal more liquid with every puff. Ten milligrams becomes the sensible figure at that point, and ELFBAR ELFLIQ 10ml is filled there too. Running twenty at 0.4 with the airflow open is how a pleasant liquid turns harsh.
Charging
USB Type-C at three amps, and VAPORESSO publish eighty per cent in twenty minutes. That is the fastest charging on any pod kit here by a clear margin, and on a 1500mAh cell it means a short top-up genuinely gets you through a day.
A 0.88-inch colour display carries six themes, which is cosmetic rather than functional but does mean the readout is legible in bright sun.
Pod life
Sweetened liquids finish a pod sooner than plain fruits and menthols. Because the mesh is sealed in, the pod is the part that goes rather than a coil inside it.
The upside of one pod fitting every generation is that spares never become obsolete when you change device. It is worth keeping more than one.

The 0.4 ohm pod is the only one that unlocks stepped wattage. Fit it if that is what you want.
Keep spare pods. They fit every XROS you might own next.
Kenya and Nairobi relevance
Fast charging matters more in Kenya than the specification suggests: twenty minutes on a plug you happen to be near is a different proposition from an hour you have to plan for. Nairobi orders are dispatched same-day, with 24 to 48 hours elsewhere in Kenya.
