One part, not two
The Novo 5 pod carries its coil inside it and is replaced whole. It is on Replacement Pods, and nothing on Replacement Coils fits this device.
That is a genuine difference from the Nord 5, which takes an empty pod and a separate RPM 3 coil. Two SMOK devices, two architectures, and the same manufacturer name on both, which is exactly why checking the part rather than the brand is the reliable approach.
Thirty watts on a mouth-to-lung device
Output runs from five to thirty watts. Triple-clicking steps through presets, and the buttons trim from there, so you can set it precisely or leave it on a preset and forget it.
The draw starts as mouth-to-lung and opens towards something looser as you widen the rotating inlet ring. A 0.69-inch display shows wattage, battery, and the pod resistance.
Twenty milligrams of 50/50 salt is the starting strength on the 0.7 ohm pod, which is where ELFBAR ELFLIQ 10ml and BAR Salts are filled. If you push the wattage towards thirty, ten milligrams is the better choice — more vapour per puff means more nicotine per puff at the same concentration.
A 70/30 freebase is not the format for this device. The pod is built around a thinner 50/50 liquid and may not wick a thicker one reliably.
Pod life
Pods are the consumable, and the liquid decides how long one lasts. Sweetened profiles coat the coil faster than plain fruits and menthols, and because the coil is sealed inside, there is no smaller part to change when it goes.
Higher wattage shortens pod life too. Running near thirty watts generally gets through pods faster than sitting at fifteen.
Charging and everything else
The 900mAh cell is sealed, which puts Batteries out of scope for this kit; that shelf exists for the mods here running removable cells.
Everything else about ownership comes down to the pod and the bottle. There is no tank to clean, no coil to prime separately, and nothing to assemble.
