There is no wattage control on a Sonder Q2 and no menu to go looking for one. It reads whichever cartridge is fitted and delivers the power that the resistance asks for, to a ceiling of thirty watts.
That makes the cartridge the setting, which is why choosing the right resistance matters more here than on a device you can adjust.
The Q Cartridge, and its four resistances
One consumable: the Geekvape Q Cartridge, with the coil sealed inside. It holds three millilitres in most places, dropping to two in Britain and the European Union, whose law caps it. Nothing equivalent applies in Kenya, so the fuller cartridge is what you will find here. Cartridges are on Replacement Pods.
Four resistances are made — 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 and 1.2 ohms — and they run from a loose restricted draw down to a properly tight mouth-to-lung one. There is no separate coil, so nothing on Replacement Coils fits this device.
Geekvape publishes a wattage band for each: 25 to 30 watts at 0.4, 18 to 25 at 0.6, 12 to 18 at 0.8, and 8 to 12 at 1.2. Since the device sets its own power, those bands tell you what each cartridge will actually be doing rather than what you might set it to.
Which strength goes with which cartridge
On the 0.8 and 1.2 ohm cartridges, twenty milligrams of 50/50 salt is the match. ELFBAR ELFLIQ 10ml and BAR Salts are filled there.
The 0.6 and 0.4 pull far more liquid per puff, and at those rates ten milligrams is the sensible strength. ELFBAR ELFLIQ 10ml runs it. Twenty milligrams at 0.4 ohms delivers more per draw than most people are looking for.
A 70/30 freebase does not belong in any of the four. The cartridge is built around a 50/50 liquid and may not wick a thicker one reliably.
Airflow and indicators
A side slider adjusts the airflow, which is the one thing on this device you do control. A colour LED ring around the logo reports charge and firing; there is no screen and no puff counter.
Charging runs over USB Type-C at 5V and 1A, into a 1350mAh cell that is built in, which puts Batteries outside what this kit ever needs.
Reordering
The cartridge is the only consumable here, and its life is a function of the liquid. Sweetened bottles coat sealed mesh faster than plain fruits or menthols will.
Because the resistance sets the power, keeping two resistances on hand is a genuine way to change the device rather than merely a way to keep it running. A 1.2 and a 0.6 in the same drawer give you two vapes from one kit.
